The Wright Ladies

I have known Kresta Wright since I was little; in fact she use to babysit me which we were laughing about yesterday during the shoot!  She now lives about a mile from my house like many other Uvalde people.  We all seem to migrate to San Antonio!  We had so much fun on this shoot and I loved all 209 pictures that we took as well!  I don't know how they are going to pick because I had a tough time not wanting to post all of them on my blog.  You girls are all so beautiful; thanks for the awesome afternoon!

Baby Boy!

Brooke and Bryan are just the cutest couple!  It made me melt the way they look at each other.  They came down all the way from Austin to do a shoot with me which was very exciting!  We went down to good ole' Gruene for their shoot!  There are so many cool places to shoot there and we had so much fun.  My favorite shots were taken inside Gruene Hall!  We have all had many fun times there!  Brooke and Bryan congrats on your baby boy that will be here soon!

One Crazy Shoot

This weekend we attempted to have a Sutherland/Noble Christmas shoot; which ultimately spelled disaster!  Becca has been my best friend since the 4th grade and she shares my love of photography so this past weekend we thought it would be great to do both of our family Christmas shoots at once....bad idea! Their shoot went great but when it came time to do my kids they weren't having it!  They were tired and hungry and had already been running around a while so they didn't want their pictures done!  Becca was nice enough to come and help me again on Sunday but that was a mini-disaster as well.  I think my girls are burnt out on having their pictures taken.  But, none-the-less I loved Becca, Matt, and Hayden's pictures!  Dub and I are so excited because next weekend we get to become Hayden's god parents which is so exciting for us!  Becca and I have always dreamed of having our wonderful families and having our kids grow up together and our dreams are now coming true!  We love you guys so much!

The Walker Family

Melody is my sister-in-laws sister and I have known her since I was like five so I was so flattered when she asked me to do pictures of her boys: Jack and Charlie.  The cutest part of the whole shoot was when the boys told me that there daddy wanted a hot picture of their momma so Todd...here is your hot mamma!  Melody you are so beautiful and so are your boys!

My mom rocks!  I have had so many emails with people asking me where I got the girls shirts from that I used in their pumpkin shoots.  The answer: my mom!  She is so awesome and she can make anything.  These shirts run between $45.00 and $65.00 and are all custom made!  If you are interested in having some done please give her a call!  She is only doing a limited number of orders before the holidays!

The Turner Family

What an awesome family!  The Turner's were up for anything; even wondering down to an old train yard!  I absolutely loved this shoot because we got to get so much variety in locations and this family is awesome!!!!!!!!

This train car was completely empty so they just hopped on in and what a fun shot!

It isn't everyday that mom gets her name in graffiti. 

This was one of my favorite shots during the shoot!  Aren't these boys so cute!

Halloween Shoots

I want to send a huge thanks out to DD and all the girls at Chic Mama Maternity for letting me come in and do some Halloween shoots; I really appreciate all of yalls help!  Also, thanks to all for stopping by and getting some pictures of all your cute kiddos in their costumes!  I just love Halloween!

The McCullough Family

What a beautiful family!  I got the opportunity to shoot the McCullough family Friday morning and they were awesome!  Little Colton looked so cute in all of his outfits it made me ready for Christmas.  One of my other favorite parts of this job is learning where other people are from. I was super excited to find out that Laura grew up not to far from me in the town of Eagle Pass.  I love hearing how people ended up here in good ole' San Antonio!  You guys are the cutest family and thanks for an awesome shoot!

The Rutledge Family

I love it when I have the opportunity to head back to Uvalde to do some shoots and my in-laws love it because it is a good excuse for them to hangout with their grandkids.  I did two shoots yesterday in Uvalde and had a blast.  This one was done out at the Rutledge family's ranch.  It was the most amazing place with the most awesome family.  Besides being a beautiful family they had this awesome ranch that I could have spent a week taken pictures at.  We all had so much fun and they had so much history there that it was amazing.  I loved this shoot!

The Parker Kids

The Parker Family is near and dear to my heart!  They are like family to us!  My mom's best-friend from Uvalde is Carol Parker (their grand-mother) and my brother and I grew up with both of their boys and went on some great family vacations together!  I had so much fun doing this shoot; Jackson cracked me up because he did his own thing the entire shoot so I had to snap pictures when a quick opportunity presented itself!  I hope yall like!

I DID IT

I am such a dork I know but I did it!  I finally made some layouts!  I am ordering  some albums so that I have samples to show all my clients and the hardest part for me was doing layouts and they are soooooooo easy!  Since I am so proud of my big accomplishment I am showing yall some that I am doing in my albums!

I Love Fall

Can I just tell everyone how much I love this time of year!  I love fall colors, I love Halloween, I love going to the pumpkin patch with Dub and the girls, I love the smell of fall!  This past weekend we took the girls to Medina so they could go paint pumpkins, pet all of the cute animals and enjoy all the country has to offer.  Every time we do things like this it really makes me want to move back to a small town.  There is something about small towns that really make you appreciate the simple things in life; like just being in the outdoors.  We all had so much fun as a family last week as well!  As soon as Dub got off of work we were all heading out to go bird hunting everyday last week!  That is definitely the way I was brought up; loving the outdoors and that is what I want for my girls as well!

Alli's Wedding

Alli is my good friend Jamie's sister-in-law and she and her now husband Matt were sweet enough to let me come snap a couple of pictures before their wedding!  Thanks you guys for the practice and congrats on a long happy life together; yall are awesome!

The Foster Family

This was such a fun family shoot.  These two boys cracked me up because they were just being boys the whole shoot and I was really able to capture them being themselves.  I hope yall love these pictures as much as I do and thanks for such a fun time!

Hot Mammas

Cara and Candiss are two sisters that came in from Beeville with their two cuties to do a shoot with me!  They are awesome chicks!  Listening to their story was so funny; they are really close sisters and they are both due on the same day!  Cyley is such a cutie; she had tons of fun on the photo shoot and told me how much fun she was having.  Colton was a little bit shy but just the sweetest thing.  I love these pictures and my favorite is of the two of them "bumping bellies!"

A Friend in Need

The Johnston Family

I love getting the opportunity to come down to my hometown to do photo shoots.  This one in particular was really funny b/c Les (my brother-in-law) whom I might add is the funniest, most outgoing, not shy person I know was dreading having his picture taken.  I think everyone in town knew about his anti-photo shoot feelings.  However; if you asked him today he will tell you he had a blast because he did.  Ten minutes into it we were rockin' and rollin' and having a ton of fun all of us!  There pictures rocked and we found the most awesome place to do this photo shoot!  I hope you all enjoy pictures; I had to post a ton because I had too many favorites and about 4o more I didn't have room to post!

More Ice Cream Please

Can we say exhausted!  Last night I put together the ice cream social at my girls day school and today I am still trying to recover!  Once the sugar high ran out I realized that preparing for over 100 people to come "scream for ice cream" was a little more tiring than I had anticipated.  But, nonetheless we had a blast.  As you can see from the picture below Sloane has decided that every night could be ice cream night in her book.  She was attacking the ice cream bars and would rather have it than my cooking any night!  

Sneak Peak

I cannot say enough about this awesome family.  The Beasley's are the cutest family and have the four most beautiful children.  They have three girls and the youngest JW is the sweetest little boy.  All of the girls in this family dote on little JW.  During the shoot they all had to have their turn to hold him; he is one lucky little guy to have a family that loves him so much!  You can just see in these pictures how much they all love each other and you can tell it stems from the love that their two parents share! Thanks so much yall!

Jude "Cutie" Muniz

Jude is such a stinkin' cutie!  He was hamming it up the entire time and he doesn't take a bad picture.  His aunt Aurea was my roomate my freshman year and is a good friend from Uvalde.  I can't believe her little brother is all grown up and has this little cutie as well as a gorgeous older sister!  I got to catch up with old friends on this shoot and had such a blast!  It was great seeing you all and thanks for letting me photograph your handsome man!

It's Worth the Splurge

I splurged and ordered some canvases of the girls and they are amazing!  Canvases are truly a work of art and look beautiful up in the house!  Canvases are one of my specialty products that start out at $350.00 but so worth it!

Saturday at the Sutherlands

Well...I had originally had several shoots set up for this weekend but thinking we were going to get hit with all of the rain from the hurricane I cancelled them and of course it has turned out to be a beautiful weekend.  So, I have been enjoying the morning with my family.  Dub taught Sophie how to use her fishing pole this morning and of course they found it to be really funny to cast the line if front of my cat and have him go after the plastic fish attached to the end of the pole.  I wanted to post of couple of pictures of my cat "Kat" for all of my college roomates who have many stories to tell about my cat.  He was my first pet that I picked up coming home from my freshman year of college.  Kat has been with me every since and has lived in California as well as Texas in all my many moves.  You can tell just by his pictures that he has tons of personality!

Bucky Bear was my husbands college rescue when he almost got hauled off by the pound because he kept running into a local grocery store!  He was a rugged street dog and my husband told the grocery store that if he would load up in his truck he would take him.  Well one bbq beef sandwich and 7 years later we have the most loyal guard dog one family could hope for.  Buck looks like a grizzly bear but is our teddy bear!

This is the plastic fish that comes attached to the pole...so every cast is a winner!  Thanks to Mark and Amy for giving Sophie her first fishing pole!

Our Day at the Zoo

My girls and I love to go to the zoo!  
This is the point when you have had too much fun in the sun and it is time to go home.
The monkeys are always one of our favorite animals to visit at the zoo.   Sophie and Sloane are our two little monkeys!
The aquarium in the new Zoo exhibit is one of Sophie and Sloane's favorite part of the zoo.  It is my favorite because it is in the AC.

My Girls

This maybe the funniest picture I have ever taken of my girls!  Now this is sisterly love...right!  Sophie looks evil-ki-nevil-and Sloane looks like her eyes are rolling back!  My family laughed so hard at this picture!

I really wanted to do a shoot of my girls this weekend since we were in Uvalde...the town where Dub and I grew up and share so many memories.  Now my girls will be able to look back and know they have shared a place so dear to us!  Sophie and Sloane...mommy and daddy love you more than words can say!

The Baize Family

Introducing the Baize Family!  I met Tobi and Bryan a couple of years ago at my friend Jamie's house and I was so flattered when they asked me to do their family pictures!  They were so much fun to shoot and so easy going!  Their little boys are such gentlemen and a treat to take pictures of.  I was also excited to do this shoot because I just got my new camera in and they were the first family I got to snap pictures of with it!  I hope yall enjoy!

Riley and Sydney

Riley and Sydney's mom is from my hometown of Uvalde and they are such little cuties!  I had so much fun on this shoot and I finally got to shoot at this red door that I have had my eye on for such a long time! These two kiddos are so stinking adorable it would be impossible to take a bad picture of them!

Charlie and Jaclyn

Charlie is one of Dub's best friends from UT and we are so excited about his new engagement to Jaclyn!  They are getting married January 3rd in Houston.  Dub and I went to H-town this past weekend to catch up with all of our college friends and I was privileged enough to get to do Charlie and Jaclyn's engagement pictures!

Happy Birthday Sloane

Happy First Birthday Sloane!  My baby girl just had her first birthday yesterday!  I can't believe she is already a year old...time sure does fly!  We had such an awesome day celebrating her birthday with our closest family and friends!  Happy Birthday Sloane; we love you so much!

Jess, Natalie, and Zachary

Jess, Natalie, and Zachary are expecting baby Emory really soon!  They wanted to get together and have some pics done before her big arrival.  They are the cutest family ever so it would be impossible to take a bad picture of them!

Jared, Byron, and Lucy are good family friends of ours from Uvalde.  Last year their parents had their 25 year wedding anniversary and wanted the kids to get together for pictures.  Well...11 months later here they are!  Enjoy!

Amy is my next door neighbor and our families have become such great friends.  The Zunker's have two little boys close to the same ages as our girls so we all have a ton of fun hanging out! Amy is starting her own business called Sweet Baby Z where she will have several neat items on her website but my favorite are her cross pillows.  We did this shoot for her website so people can know a little bit about her....

Jill Hale

Jill has been one of my best friend's since we were little.  She is having her first baby--a boy in October!  Two weeks after she has her baby she is moving to Montana where her husband got this awesome job!  We are really excited for them and sad to see Jill go.  Jill...I had so much fun running around Uvalde shooting these pics and I am going to miss having you come visit all the time when you have to leave!

The Amerman's

The Amerman kids are such little cuties!  I had so many beautiful pictures to choose from.  Davis and Reese are the same ages as my two kids and so it is perfect when our families get together.  Jamie and I have already decided that Sophie and Davis are having an arranged marriage...we are going real "old school!"  We took the kids down to Gruene Hall for the shoot and had a blast!  Hope yall love the pics!

My Girls

Lately I have been so busy having fun snapping everyone else's pictures that I had to snap a couple of my girls this morning to document for their scrapbooks.  I only got to shoot about ten before Sloane had a total melt down after she fell off the chair she was bouncing on.  Sophie is now 2 1/2 and Sloane is 11 months old.  We are getting ready to have Sloane's first birthday next month and her big sister can't wait to help her open all of her presents!

The Hatter Family

My Shoot in Montana

This is the shoot I did while I was in Montana visiting my good friend Cindy.   Cindy and I have been friends for about ten years now.  We met when we were UCA cheer instructors my freshman year of college.  She was also one of my roomies my senior year of college.  Cindy can best be described as a breath of fresh air!  I have had so much fun this past week with her in Montana...and I have learned so much more about photography!  Thanks Cin!

Heath and Macy
